It has been a relatively slow day - and being unable to think of anything particularly amusing to write about, I've shamelessly recycled some PRC propaganda for everybody's collective enjoyment.This is a PRC propaganda poster dating back to probably the 1950-1960s. The mainland girl is holding up a poster (presumably of starving Taiwanese kids) and urging the People's Liberation Army to "liberate" the poor kids living in Taiwan.
Oh the irony... almost as ironic and tragic as the "Great Leap Forward"...

I myself prefer propaganda posters from the Soviet Union. The futuristic fonts! The stone-faced comrades! The peasant women shaped like men! Fantastic.
